I really wanted to go the game last night and welcome back Pujols and give him an ovation for the 500 HR accomplishment. So when he came up to bat in the first inning I gave him a standing ovation and I am pretty sure I was the only one in the stadium doing that. There was not much of a sustained reception or anything different at all. In fact the kid stealing 3rd in the 3rd inning had the biggest cheer of the night I am almost 100% sure lol

 

Anyway it must just be me but I thought he should have received a better welcome and recognition for what he just accomplished even if most of it was not in an Angel uniform.
