    Upton got crossed up at 3rd and should have scored on the sac fly. He wasn’t looking at the ball or Dino and tried to just time it with his head turned the other way for some reason and then went back. It was just strange. Like I said though, inconsequential since Arica doubled in two runs.

    I knew Upton’s numbers would be there eventually. Everyone was aware of how streaky he could be offensively. I like him as a player, fun to watch at the plate imo. He is FAR from the problem with this offense. I’d love to see the Angels add another MOTO bat. Although it would be nice not to have to pay 200+ million in free agency to get a player like that in our lineup. Oh yeah and JD Martinez was never coming here.

    Yeah, I checked something called the standings. I hate to say it but I actually see Seattle hanging on to face NY for the wildcard. Oakland will fall out of the race eventually imo. Maybe they’ll prove me wrong, like I said, we’ll see where they are at the end of September.

    In all fairness, I think it’s that giant double eared helmet that he’s always worn that makes his head look incredibly tiny. Big payroll, small payroll.. They’re not going to the playoffs either so who cares. I just dislike the A’s. We’ll see where they are at the end of the year.
