Add the Mariners, Indians, and Cardinals with the Mets into the fray now. Point Smith to a non-contender for that pitcher, and let 4 four teams fight over him from that team. Time is precious, especially over how Lincicum looked last night, waste of time if done otherwise.
-
How do you ask such a question, M0nkey, when the answer has been within my point made already?! The non-contender might want something from the Mets, willing to move one of their starting pitchers for.
..."On my head? How can someone drop me on my head?!"

Okay, so I've talked about this before. This is where Eppler should play his cards right. (The trade deadline is Poker game (as the off-season is a Chess game)). He has a late innings reliever held in his hand (as a rental). with about 10 contending teams needing one, as Jeff Fletcher answered my question with before. Move towards a non-contender with a serviceable lower rotation starting pitcher and allow the Mets to deal directly with that team for Joe Smith. Open up the pool to chose from behind such a card.

While it is nice to see the team playing better this is not sustainable with this group...
You probably wouldn't be saying that had Richards, Heaney, Tropeano, or even Wilson had been healthy. All this is telling Eppler is to put all the resilience to work, fight it, and to lay it all on the line and put some pieces in play!! This team earns that, damn it!!

Us making the playoffs from where we currently sit...
Look, when you lay it on the line as the Halos already have, while that offense has displayed among the best in MLB (despite the hole in LF), I'm as ballsy as can be to solidify the rotation and make a run at this with!! If they must trade Joe Smith, a rental, through all of this, fine, but make the run happen!
Btw, Cowart is READY!

One of the greatest video games of our time, and you speak for them that nobody gets it, for one?

Jeff, you are random phrase generator. I know it all makes some sort of sense in your head but no one else is getting it.
If you read back, you would be getting it.

Love it, I could be but won't be, one of them!

Especially ones who seem to survive Coors Field.
1/2 a good season for the Rockies after coming off TJ surgery might make him available at the same time, too. The Rockies getting a reliever for him, not necessarily the Angels, that they can immediately flip onto this trade deadline frenzied market with, might yield for a desirable return to them for Chatwood. The Angels may or may not be able to play upon that angle toward getting him, but the circumstances make for a 3-way scenario.

There are two sides to a trade. Why would Colorado, who has no reason to trade for a reliever, trade chatwood for street?
Man, that c@t is running with the blinkers on!

Its a shit trade...better?
Okay, so now you've REITERATED upon someone speaking for you. And, you seem to be missing the overall message I've suggested with my OP:
it's trade deadline time and the Angels need another SP to make a run at this. Whether they might leverage upon the demand through their relievers, I simply threw Street out there to begin with. While Chatwood, might have some UNDERSCORE to work from about getting.
I'm surveying while you MULL OVER what somebody else has to say. How come you haven't changed your name?!

Don't you mean, ELABORATE, from that post before?

Joe Smith is a rental, so his value would be down, to correct myself from before. They should keep Smith over Street for setup. They would have too to take back most of Street's remaining money owed for any value in return, the more I look at it. Run with Street and Smith for the bullpen season remainder but plan on Cam as the closer!
Mulwin, in the meantime, just seems to mull over with correcting my fat fingers.

How big of an underscore is Chatwood on the SP market? If contenders aren't about for him now, maybe the Angels should take a shot at him. Would they do it for Joe Smith? Probably!

Dear Mr. Eppler: Buy, Don't Sell!

The 2006 Cards won the WS at 83-78 on the season. Anything can happen! The Halos can surge while the others regress. They're at a fortunate time that they can deal from one of their late innings relievers for a starting pitcher now and beyond this season.
Would the Chisox give us Jacob Turner for Joe Smith at this time, for example?
