  1. AP crushing everything but his weakest knock was the base hit.
  2. Tommy Hanson has allowed 4 XBH to the Astros in his past 6 starts. He's allowed 4 already to them in 2 and 2/3 of an inning.
  3. Don't worry, this team will start winning once we get close to being eliminated.
  4. The key to the success we had second half of last year, was Mike Trout coming up and changing the ATMOSPHERE. Then, all of a sudden the players realized how good they were and started producing. Ring some bells?
  5. Can we play a lesser team? These guys are too good for us.
  6. The weakest link of this team, is scouting. The battery has no game plan whatsoever, and has no idea on how to face opposing hitters.
  7. Hanson has allowed 23 base hits to the Astros in 148 ABs in his career. He's already allowed 4 in 4 ABs.
  8. Tommy Hanson, career against Astros. .155/.204/.196 slash line against. As soon as he puts on an Angels uniform, he sucks against them?
  9. The recent history of players performing, until they come to the Angels(and vice versa) has to raise eyebrows. How can you become a great GM, when every single great player you bring in, starts sucking the moment they play in this uniform? All the GM can do, is construct a team that looks good on paper, and Dipoto has done just that. The rest is on the on-field management.
  10. Fire Scioscia instead of Soscia, and bring in a manager that might fill up a lineup card like yours.
  11. It would be interesting to see how Jepsen would do if he went to the Rays.
  12. MS manages every game like a one run game. Gets afraid of one run, and allows the big inning. Like the other game where he was afraid of the steal and allowed the HR. This offense can come back from 2-3 run deficits, but he doesn't realize it. He belongs in the NL.
  13. The management deserves no blame for calling the wrong play? Blame it all on Romine?
  14. The A's threaten to steal, distracts the pitcher and gives the hitter an advantage. The Angels miss bunts and gives pitchers comfort, and puts the hitter in a hole. Huge difference in management.
  15. Every ground ball is getting through the Angels infield, and the opposite is happening to us.
  16. Mike Scioscia sure appreciates getting into good counts and having less outs. He puts the pressure on him own team rather than the opponent.
