  1. Wow that was hard to read. I agree with what Wicked and Adam mentioned re: it happens at college parties a lot. This story also reinforces how happy I am that I didn't join a frat. At my school, UCSB, it wasn't necessary to join one in order to find parties, so never dealt with the greek parties as much. But even the non Greek parties had kids that were passed out like that or staggering around. With that said, any of the parties that I was at, if someone started to fall down from being too drunk, I'd always see another student (whether it was a significant other or a concerned friend) take care of that person.

The market is taking a big dive day today and all the media can give for a reason is investors think Trump will be impeached.

Really?! Is that what drives traders and fund managers to sell stocks??

    I don't think so.

Yes, uncertainty is something many "traders and fund managers" try to avoid.

I honestly still hope we lose the division to Edmonton. I much rather face that sinking ship in San Jose than Nashville. Learn from the past mistakes, guys! We can't beat Nashville. Idc how positive you are about this team. Some teams just have your number.

San Jose didn't look good for stretches last year as well. Both Thornton and Couture are coming back too. I wouldn't sleep on SJ yet.

great, use the book thread and/or hide features. again, i don't know what the fucking problem is. it was enough of a distraction that a separate thread was created so he could get his psuedo-intellect kicks off spouting his interpretation of how everything will play out based on his book readings. we fucking get it, the show is "past" the books now. it doesn't mean shit from the books magically becomes irrelevant or won't play a role in the rest of the show.

it's not hard for you guys to still have your "in-depth analysis" citing book knowledge without being a self important douche. he does this shit non-stop with disregard for others much like his trump/trump supporter posts.

you want book info or knowledge, great, use the book thread. that's what it's there for.

So you're the one person whining about posters talking about the books, yet we are all being self important douches. Got it.

  5. Agreed about Perry, GB.

I do think the Ducks should make a big change, but I also don't think it means they are swinging for the fences. A Duchene or Landoskog acquisition would likely cost one of Fowler, Vats, or Manson plus prospects and picks.  That would severely weaken the Ducks D, which has already been suspect; Bieksa would be playing in the top 4.

In reality the Ducks need a top 6 scoring forward along with a physical defenseman who can play with either Theo or Montour. Stoner could be that guy, however he's been out for so long that it's hard to rely on him coming in to be an effective bottom pairing guy.

The more I think about it, the more I think that this is a lost season.  There are too many holes/question marks to call this team a contender.

  6. The Ducks can't add another defenseman until after the expansion draft unless they are looking at rentals. They're already in trouble now (assuming Bieksa waives his NMC or he's bought out) with Fowler, Lindholm, Manson, and Vatanen. If they go 4-4-1, they will lose one of Silf or Rakell, so that's not an option.

I don't think this team has enough this year, but I think Duchene would be the perfect guy. I'd move any D not named Lindholm for him. He's a dynamic, fast forward that would help the Ducks' scoring woes big time.
