  1. Ticket prices for sure...if the Ducks don't make the cup attendance will suffer as well September-mid December.

On a different note, **** all this shit I've been reading/hearing about Nashville being a tough opponent. Ducks are gonna roll in 5.

Season seat prices actually went down next year compared to this year.

  2. Except Despres struggled all season when he was healthy, he looked awful.

When the expansion draft comes he's one guy they will leave UNprotected, they will protect Fowler/Lindholm/Theodore for the 3 defensemen spots allowed & probably will lose Manson & Despres.

It's hard to say all season when he missed more than half of the season with concussion symptoms. I also think he was a lot better than you're leading on.

  3. I didn't even realize Pirri was out on Sunday. Is he out for tonight, too?

    C'mon guys, get healthy.

I won't be able to watch tonight's game. WTF man. Lakers/Clippers on FSW, Angels on the other FS channel. Kings on channel 13. Ducks on NHL channel but my DTV package level doesn't include that channel. ****ers.

There are a few youtube streams that you can find. Check out the Ducks reddit. Someone always posts them on there.

  4. As far as I'm concerned, it does.

What is your problem anyway?   I don't dump on YOU!

My problem is that you go on these bizarre less than informed rants. I get that you're wanting the rain but try to keep it in with reality (which is what I try to inform you on). At first I tried to explain it to you with links, summaries, etc. You'd either ignore it or glaze over what I posted.

I nearly studied meteorology for my undergraduate degree and still try to stay informed with new and developing weather stories. With that said I am nowhere near an expert in weather, but I'm always open to discussions about it. Your posts are not discussions, however. You constantly knock NOAA without basis other than, "they predicted this and it's not happening!!!!!!!!" when it's just that: a prediction. Many of the forecasts use historical data to predict future weather (e.g. rainier winters for SoCal in El Nino seasons).

NOAA isn't completely guilt-free, either. Their satellites are OLD and inadequate compared to other countries. They do use European models as guidance, which have actually been more accurate, sadly.

I guess what I'm really trying to say, something I've said multiple times in this thread, is that meteorology isn't an exact science and most likely never will be. It's pointless to blame NOAA or get all ranty for no reason. That, or I probably just shouldn't respond to the posts.

  5. No more real rain expected through April.

El Nino officially goes into the books as a SoCal La Nina!

Things that will happen before SoCal gets at least normal rainfall in a year:

All politicians do what's best for America and not themselves.

    ISIS becomes humanitarians.

Sixers win their next NBA title.

Sabres win their first SC title.

    No it doesn't.

  6. I think hockey analytics has a ways to go. With that said the current advanced stats heavily favor Lindholm over Fowler.

Fowler is signed for another two years at $4 million.

I think Lindholm will get something similar to what Dougie Hamilton got (6 years at 5.75 million), maybe a bit less on average for Hampus.

Putting those two together and knowing Fowler is going to get a raise, I think the easy choice is Hampus in the future. He'll be younger, cheaper, and I think more effective.

Don't know if anyone saw this. My friend was involved here. Not sure how to post videos from my iPhone, but the Kings fan was awful. He called my friend and his friends p*ssies and their girlfriends skanks. He ended up getting cuffed and a "one year ban". I put it in quotes because my friend saw Staples security let him go without consequence.

  8. Agreed. Larsson or Montour could be used to acquire a forward especially given the Ducks rep on producing quality Defensemen.

I beginning to balk at the thought of trading Larsson now. Dude just played 25 minutes with a goal in his last game, all while playing for the SHL's second best club at 19 years old. Maybe the Ducks should go with an all Swedish d-core? Jokes aside, Larsson is looking real, real good for his draft +1 year.
