  1. Thought maybe that's what you were doing. But given the other false stories you've posted here, it seemed logical you'd believe it.
  2. That was just another lie. Are you going to go Ann Coulter on him when you find out it ain't happening?
  3. Pretty sure Trump would rather have sex with his daughter.
  4. Yeah, so about that shooting the other day... https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation-now/2018/03/22/school-shooting-victim-brain-dead/451670002/ A 16-year-old girl who was wounded in a shooting this week at a Maryland high school will be taken off life support on Thursday night, her family said.
  5. Maybe rant isn't the right word. I don't think you sound angry or anything.
  6. Then you haven't read all my posts here or you've simply forgotten. It's kind of funny watching you rant on here sometimes. For someone who doesn't follow politics very closely, you get pretty tribal. And I'm not talking about Republicans and Democrats, I'm talking about the political divide in here. To be fair though, most of us are guilty of the same.
  7. By that logic, they could give out tax cuts every year, not cut spending, let the deficit pile up, and then call it conservative.
  8. Didn't initially catch this post since it was end-paged. Anyway, I believe you. I was explaining to you why conservative media has been so aggressive in their attacks on the FBI. As I said, it's merely an attempt to discredit the investigation. Funny how you cons start saying bad things about the administration only after we're on the subject lol Come on, Lou... this is desperate. I do sometimes critique posts from those who I usually agree with. And I believe I've seen you do it as well. I have biases and don't claim to be completely neutral. And I don't think you claim that, either. But I do think you're a little more on one side than you let on sometimes. It seems pretty obvious.
  9. Apparently a very partisan townhall.com, for one, where you cut and paste an article with a laughable narrative. http://www.angelswin-forum.com/forums/topic/25379-trumped/?page=593&tab=comments#comment-1083400 But seriously, I wouldn't say that they necessarily form your opinions. More like influence, which is evident.
  10. I didn't say you've been complementary. I said you've been more critical of the FBI than the current Administration, which you have been. I'm sure there's been more incompetence in the FBI. But you haven't said anything about it until recently. basically when right-wing media started going after them as a way to try to discredit the Mueller investigation.
  11. Tax cuts aren't conservative without a plan to cut spending. And there was never a plan. But you knew that.
  12. They're certainly not above criticism. Their field office in Miami mishandled the tips leading up to the Parkland shooting. What's funny though is that you've been more critical of the FBI than you have been of the current Administration. Not an uncommon approach for cons these days given the slant that's coming out of right-wing outlets.
  13. So no, you're not fiscally conservative anymore. That explains the silence. It also explains why you don't care about the deficit anymore, since there was nothing fiscally conservative about the tax cuts. You've brought up McCabe on multiple occasions. But the overall obsession lies with your newfound disdain for the FBI. Gee, I wonder why. I'm sure it's just a coincidence that every other Trumper shares your sentiment.
  14. So you've been obsessing over McCabe for the last several months because you don't want your tax dollars going towards his pension? Then why don't you say anything about Trump's multimillion-dollar vacations he takes every week on the taxpayers dime, or his administration's wasteful spending we keep hearing about? I mean, are you fiscally conservative or not?
  15. Lawrence doesn't like McCabe because Trump doesn't like him. It's as simple as that. Must follow the tribe leader.
  16. I agree that she didn't lose by a large margin. She lost Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania by less than 80,000 votes put together. They need a good candidate, and someone who isn't so easily tied to Hillary. That's one of several reasons why I don't want gillibrand to get the nom. Seems like she might be the early front-runner. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  17. And if that somehow happened, she'd lose by an even bigger margin. As bad as we might think it is, polls show that there isn't even close to enough buyer's remorse to turn the tide between those two choices. Dems need to put up a decent candidate or it'll be another 7 years of Trump.
  18. Either that or it's the devil trying to deceive us.
  19. No doubt that each show plays to a narrative but some play more fast and loose with the facts. I mean, it is remarkable that you have an anchor who basically admitted as much about the network that employs him.
  20. I don't disagree that there's an element of bias on every cable news show but there are varying degrees. There's a difference between the coverage on his show and the heavy propaganda that's regularly pushed on Fox News primetime.
  21. Fox News anchor Shepard Smith says opinion programming on his network doesn't "really have rules" and exists "strictly to be entertaining," in an interview published Thursday. "Some of our opinion programming is there strictly to be entertaining," Smith told Time Magazine's Daniel D'Addario in a piece titled, "Shep Smith Has the Hardest Job on Fox News." “We serve different masters," Smith, 54, added when discussing the difference between the opinion side of Fox News, including shows such as "The Sean Hannity Show," and the network's news division. "We work for different reporting chains, we have different rules. They don’t really have rules on the opinion side. They can say whatever they want. If it’s their opinion."
