Yep. I'm watching on the Dodger channel just for Vin.
-
No way I am reading 9 pages, but Bourjos is the better defender.
You don't have to read 9 pages. I'ts 8 pages of the same crap. Of course I was dumb enough to read them all and even weigh in on the subject.

Oh good grief the eventually he'll be a Yankee argument again. Trout won't make it to FA before the Angels lock him in long term to a very big contract.
You don't read well. I said MONEY will keep him here!
-
You people that think kissing Trouts ass will keep him here are delusional. Money will keep him here. Weaver is a very rare player that put happiness above the almighty dollar. When the Skanks back up the Brinks truck, say goodbye.

lifetime is getting owned in this thread
No hes not.
-
I hope Scioscia puts him in LF. I know he won't, but it would avoid so much drama.
Drama on here maybe. Certainly not on the team.
-
Just wait. Somebody else picks him up and he kicks our ass.
-
Just as Vegas fan stated, no difference than a fair bunt that rolls foul.
-
1. foul ball - ball went out of play before 3rd base, without a player touching the ball.
2. If the catcher is out of play, then it's a foul ball. If the Catcher for some reason steps onto the playing field, then it's the live ball, where the catcher has to tag the hitter or throw him out @ 1st
This.

We should have kept Santana.
Tomorrow he is going to make us pay (and I'm not referring to his $1M buyout)
Depends on which Santana shows up.
-
That would be the 2nd best piece of advice.
#1. Wear Kevlar to Dodger Stadium.
LoL

I am going to give you one piece of advice to enjoy your time in LA:
Rent a car. For real. Do it. It will be hard to do very much in LA without a car.
This is the best advice on this thread. And make sure you have a gps.
-
Whatever you do, avoid having your friend drive you to Union Station. Traffic on the 101 to downtown will ruin even the strongest of friendships. Take the Metro.
Sat. traffic shouldn't that bad.
-
None of this would be an issue if Dipoto had traded Bourjos for a starting pitcher in the offseason. Bourjos ain't all that. 1 sb? Way to put your only asset to use Petey!
Only asset?

So in other words...the exact opposite of PBK
Troll alert.
-
He was the most frustrating Angels regular I can remember. I'm absolutely glad he is gone. I don't care if he wins the Cy Young this year. He sure as hell wouldn't have done it in an Angels uniform.
Couldn't have been said any better.
-
And many said Spring training had absolutely no significance.
Reference: 2013 Lakers.
I was one who thought that. Guess I was wrong.
-
He was playing hurt. If you've ever had rib problems you would know that the pain from just coughing, let alone swinging a bat, is very real.
-
Well Conger is one "expendable" piece that could net a solid young reliever (ala Frieri).
We don't have another catcher. How is he expendable?
-
Why are people so concerned about trout diving for balls?. Is it because Bourjos doesn't do it very often?
Both players have some skills in which they are better at.
Both players are also spectacular in the OF and you can't go wrong with either player in CF, so why not keep out best player where he's most comfortable and most valuable..
Because he's NOT the best cf !

AngelDuck is a kid that doesn't know what the F he's talking about. He will never be allowed back. Punk ass know it all teenagers .... meh
Back story on this. This punk named AngelDuck who once was allowed to post here, trolled this board with how we should have traded Trumbo instead of Morales. Over and Over and Over, combined with 2000000000 Fire Butcher and Fire Scioscia posts.
Never a solid or positive post on this board. Josh ###### is his name, trolling is his game.
You were overboard patient with that a$$hat.

Bourjos has a better arm, but Trout's arm, while not a cannon, is certainly not a weak noodle either. You make it seem as if he throws like Johnny Damon. He has an accurate arm with average carry and a quick release. Those highlight plays last season and those acrobatic leaps above the wall to snag would be homeruns are catches very few outfielders even come close to. He is a fabulous center fielder. His timing on leaps, and his springs are better than Bourjos's, though Bourjos is pretty good at this as well. Bourjos has a well above average throwing arm, that is the only defensive tool that eclipses Trout's. In every other way Trout is just as good as, if not superior.
I guess you forgot PBs highlight reel from the year before. Its nice to be able to argue about who is the best cf because we have two of the best in baseball.
-
However, think back to comments that his agent (or he) made when it was announced he'd be starting in LF. He wasn't too pleased to be moved away from the glory position.
I never heard Trout complain. It's the agents job to advocate for the client. The Angels were pretty clear all winter that PB was the future cf.
