Ok, fair enough, so then why do you and I get to know?
I think it's easier to treat that info as a public record.

Skaggs or anyone else.
I think I heard it has to do with insurance policies. Families don't get to collect life insurance if the person kills themselves, etc, etc.

Am I the only one that thinks this is an invasion of privacy? Why would the cause of death of anyone have to be public record if no foul play was suspected? I get that people are interested, but why should we be privy to this information? The cause of death won’t make any of this better.
Are you talking about Skaggs specifically, or just in general?

This is bullshit journalism and you guys shouldn’t even be quoting that crap.
How are any of us supposed to know anything about that newspaper?

Not lost on me is that both he and Nick died right after pitching against Oakland.
So years of sewage at the Oakland Coliseum was a contributing factor?

Twitter posts are saying accidental drug overdose.
Don't shoot me if that's false.

Cause of death can be established before an autopsy is conducted.
cause vs manner of death

Doesn't sound like they need an autopsy....
He will definitely have an autopsy if no foul play was immediately evident.

Let's talk teen pregnancies.
I grew up with a girl whose mother died from breast cancer at a young age. Prior to this time, the girl and her dad were very close. They were even closer after mom was gone, to the point she hung out with her dad on the weekends when the rest of us wanted nothing to do with our parents. So they're both grieving the loss of mom...no big deal, right? Then, about a year later, the girl is pregnant at age 15 with no sign of a teenage father around. The baby was born, and very quickly, they packed their belongings and moved cross country. I still think that guy knocked up his daughter.
On that same theme, I can't help but think it's disturbing when the details of other teen pregnancies are kept so secret.

The sun never goes directly over our apartment. This is awesome for keeping the place cool, but I'm guessing it would be tricky for any kind of gardening?
So you're saying the leaves of a plant would never get direct sunlight on your patio? Not even for an hour or two per day?

Sorry about your dad, Blarg. Alzheimer's is awful.

I am pretty sure I know what it is and I’m pretty sure that it’s not anything worth reporting.
It was discussed in an earlier thread.
