Agreed. Kesler gets an A next season with Beauch leaving. There are no requirements in regards to the C and As. Doesn't have to be a specific position, Boom.

It wasn't a leadership issue, just like it wasn't a coaching issue. It was an execution issue and many factors contributed to that including what GB said.
 
For a majority of Game 7 none of the lines were connecting on more than 1 pass. Also, losing so many faceoffs in those last two games didn't help either.

If he was dealing with a serious injury, it's too bad we didn't have any experienced Dmen available.  I just wish Murray would have done something at the trade deadline to help us out in case of such a scenario.

My solution to this whole game 7 thing?  Win on Saturday.

Boudreau shouldn't be let go if we lose to Chi on Saturday.  Only 2 teams go to the Stanley Cup in any given season.  That means every year good teams fall short.  It doesn't mean that it wasn't a successful season.  Our team is still young and if we fall short this year I believe we will be in the mix for the next few years still.

Bruce isn't going anywhere. No other options out there. Babcock is gone. Bylsma in Buffalo. Who are we going to bring in? Torts? Simply no options right now. If we would've lost to Calgary I could see it but we technically have improved from last season.. Obviously is it tough to see so much potential from the team at points in the game and just can't put together a full 60 minute effort. Can Bruce or another coach really control that though?

Glad I stayed away from here during that blowup. It would've been ugly lol. This team is so damn disappointing. Close to blowing a 3-2 lead and losing Game 7 at home for the 3rd straight year lol. Getzlaf and Perry were absolute trash tonight. Stoner, Vatanen, Beauch, and Hampus all shit. Nobody played with any intensity until the 3rd. It is what it is though. I'm banning myself from Game 7. I refuse to be there again for another potential Game 7 massacre. Hoping for the best but we'll see.

This team has won close games all season long. And they have come from behind all season long. What they have accomplished in the playoffs is no different than what they have accomplished in the regular season. This team is just different than teams of past seasons. I believe they win this series. And, like gotbeer said, if they don't, I will still hold my head up high because they went to the WCF and took the Hawks to 7. The Hawks were the faves going in once it was known that Kane was going to play. Expecting the Hawks to roll over after a 3-0 deficit in the first period is just plain ignorance. They aren't slouches and they aren't going to let a team walk all over them. Neither are the Ducks. This team hasn't lost a regulation playoff game this year. Do you realize how unique that is? Only one other team in NHL history has accomplished that. But judging by some people in this thread, you would think they were winless in regulation. I understand this sounds superfanish, but whatever. I believe in this team. If you don't believe, don't watch. Because, what the F is the point?

The Ducks have only been to the Western Conference Finals 3 times in their history. I'd say any year they get that far is an awesome year. It's ok to have higher expectations, but to call this season a disappointment if they don't advance would be wrong in my opinion.
 
And Cory. I am not down on going through the wave of emotions that come with a game like yesterday. Going full retard is still bad. But getting upset or pissed off or having doubt is to be expected. But to come in here and troll the team like VLL did after Beleskey rescues our hearts from the depth of despair is just being an a$$.

How could you hate them?  IMO, this team is such a perfect team.  It's so built to be a dynasty.  Even if they lose this series.  I would hold my head high as a ducks fan.  Disappointed.  Yes.  Hate.  No.

I happen to be going to the midwest for a wedding this weekend where I will be in Chicago Thurs night.  Just picked up tickets to game 3 for me and my sister (damn those are much more expensive than in Anaheim).  So stoked!  First time going to Chicago for me, hopefully I will see a Ducks victory!
