  1. No Terry, Zegras, Carlsson, McTavish or Henrique. Surprised it's only 1-0. Lol. 3 SOG. On pace for 9.
  2. The bigger question is why is Henrique playing. Come On Verbeek, are you going to get hosed at another trade deadline.
  3. He was pulled for the third period a couple times in February. Maybe a lingering injury?
  4. Devils players are playing too individually. They're trying to do too much and not trusting their teammates.
  5. We need to prepare for a serious approach to winning next year. Vatrano needs to stay. Look at Detroit. This is the second year they've been in win mode. They have a serious chance of being in the playoffs. We could be there too in 25-26.
  6. Something about Zellweger. We just look better when he plays.
  7. NJ hasn't looked that good against us this year. But then, it doesn't appear like they've looked very good against a lot of teams this year.
  8. A lot of it could just be general scouting going forward. He has the off-season to get ready for.
  9. No. No... no, your not trading Vatrano. The guy adds something to the team that is more valuable than what we would get back. If he doesn't re-up. We can trade him next year.
  10. Half the time they do close-ups on McT, he looks like he's on his way to being shitfaced. So, I guess it fits.
  11. Yeah, they just announced it on the TV. Or, maybe a little bit ago. I'm 5+ minutes delayed right now You know, like I've said in the past, I don't see why they don't push more for an upgrade on one of our picks. Moving our 3 to a 2nd would probably serve us better. How much is a latter round 3 worth to a team with enough bottom 6 prospects already?
  12. So, any chatter on where Lybushkin might be going ?
  13. And, that's all they're paying him for. So, you wouldn't think it would be too hard to do. But too often, these coaches just can't resist trying to over play guys (umm... Corry Perry) and they perform poorly. Kind of the story with Gibson, too. Forget about the salary going out and just get your solid 50 or so games from the guy. He would give you all-star play or close to it. Over play him on a poorly defended team (like they do) and get way too many mediocre games. The sad part is he ends up only playing about 50 games a season because of injuries anyway. Two games in net; one or two out consistently and he might be playing on a playoff team now. The cap goes up and I think he'll be on another team next year. Hopefully someone else can manage him better - but, I doubt it.
  14. I'm officially calling it. Verbeek should not trade Vatrano. He should resign him for 3-4 more years in the off-season.
  15. Watching the Colorado/Dallas game. Can you believe Cogliano is still playing? How many years ago did Bob kick him to the curb because he thought he was through? But he kept Silfverberg. I swear, Bob should have done the Ducks a favor and just flipped a coin when it came to deciding between a couple players who he should keep. The guy must wear a stupid magnet around his neck.
  16. If you consider the lines we iced last night, it's no surprise we lost. We're not that strong offensively. Take away Terry, Zegras, Gauthier and our pick this year... It should be a different story in a couple years. Until then, the standings 57 games in don't lie.
  17. If I was being fair, I wouldn't compare his shot to Silfverberg .
  18. Lol, he may have played a little too long with Silfverberg. Skidded it along the ice under the goalie.
  19. Yep, depends how the team is built. If he doesn't stop making so many mistakes, he's going to become another Shattenkirk. Well, if Shattenkirk could move the puck up the ice and skate better.
  20. Good game. The Ducks played well. They were definitely into it.
