  1. I get having some leeway when they get HBP but that wasn't even close and was an obvious swing. Pisses me off we didn't argue that
  2. They may have changed things but from what I recall, BART does not come that close to the Giants stadium. I want to say the nearest is 1.5-2 miles away, although I think they have a shuttle service from BART to the stadium. It does have a ferry that can drop you off/pick you up and take you to the North Bay which is how I have typically gone to Giants games. I could be incorrect here though as an Angels fan, I typically go to A's games over the Giants.
  3. The A's also relinquished the previously neutral rights to the San Jose area to assist in the Giants landing a new stadium. When the A's later tried to reverse that decision to assist in their own new stadium deal, the Giants gave them the middle finger.
  4. He definitely needs to be starting 5 of 7 games or so. The Angels need to use this season to figure out if he is part of the future or not.
  5. As an Angels fan that live 1.5 miles away from the stadium, I love that I will be able to attend 9 games a season for 3 years after work. Also, this now at least puts Sacramento in the conversation for an expansion team, something that they have not been considered for prior to this move. They have the billionaire owner lined up this time in Vivek, unlike in MLS where the billionaire backed out because of Covid. This is to say that I am thrilled that this is happening.
  6. The bullpen looks much improved. The lineup is pretty questionable unless we get this version of Taylor Ward all season and Jo Adell's seemingly new approach sticks and leads to results. The rotation is still a huge question mark, although I am very high on Detmers and Anderson having a rebound season.
  7. Now only -1 in run differential. After the first two games, it was -17. It sure would be nice to take at least 2 of 3 from Boston to keep this team above .500
  8. Must admit it, the bullpen definitely looks better and deeper this season, and this is without Robert Stephenson. Stephnson/Moore/Estevez and Soriano make up a pretty good foundation. Ciserno has turned it around after his first outing as well. If we can just get consistent starting pitching (and health, for once), they could possibly contend for a wild card.
  9. With the day off tomorrow, they should have all of the bullpen available for Friday, except possibly Zuniga. Love it and the offense came alive. Wish we could play the Marlins more often.
