Houck was great in his first start but last year, his first as a full-time starter, he had a 5.01 ERA. with a 1.37 WHIP. Here's hoping we get that version tomorrow.
Only three hits and one walk allowed by the pitching tonight. No errors from the defense either so only four base runners with only one XBH. Nice to see after they gave up 5 home runs last night.
Yeah, he is ahead of Adell and it makes no sense as Hicks has been a career .700 OPS hitter against RHP, .663 last season. I don't mind him hitting against lefties, but he should not be getting at bats against RHP.
