What part of dysfunctional doesn’t this team understand?

I'm considering another extended self ban. Everything I touch turns to dirt.
Just now, Lou said:Ha. I'm watching. Two quick wickets by WI hurts.
Trout: wow, just wow!

Hope he goes at least 7.

There’s a typical Halos rally, 2 Ks with bases loaded.
Why am I surprised like not at all? This is a typical Angels rally in their slump. In April-May they would have scored 3 or 4 runs.

I don't think the lineup matters at this point.
If Ward is leading off then one of those other guys is batting cleanup. The fact is we just don't have anyone worth hitting anywhere.
None of this matters if the opponents score 4-5 runs in the first innings. The Halos are not a very good comeback team.

This is the most disappointed I’ve been in a season for as long as I can remember. To me this is worse than how I felt in 1995, but I’m assuming because I spend much more time on the Angels now than I did in 95. In ‘95 I had a two year old and was working my way up at work. These days it’s basically my only hobby or my escape from real life.
I know just how you feel. Even though I live in the Bay Area and have many winning teams to follow, I have remained loyal to the team I grew up with - probably in loyalty to my father who was a Halos fan from the beginning.
Although I’m considered negative and cynical by some on this board, I can only be reminded of the phrase “Scratch a cynic and you uncover a disappointed idealist.” Peace. -
The year of 2002 and the first month and a half of 2022 were the last times I truly enjoyed being an Angels fan. Everything in between were extended expectations resulting in prolonged disappointments. Last night was it. Good bye for this year.

How long until the A’s catch us?

I just can’t believe Ohtani will stay on this team. He wants to win and realizes the Angels are not a winning organization. I see him in a Yankees or Dodgers uniform as soon as his contract is up.

Stasis, Duffy, Marsh. In other words: 1 2 3 bottom of the ninth
-
Do our relievers have the record for the most walks?
-
Finally figured out walking Trout was smart.
-
At least we’ll have the bottom of the order in the ninth.
-
Brilliant managing, Nevin!
-
O’Neal to Gubi: “Is he thinking strikeout here” No, dummy, he’s thinking home run.
-
At least Loup is consistent.
-
Loup is in. Probably the game.
-
Marsh with 2 strikes . . .
-
Angels relievers aren’t very good at throwing strikes.

It doesn’t. I thought I was on first with Maldonado sneaking up behind me.
