Pitchers have too much power already. This is getting ridiculous. If Jonathon Sanchez broke his collarbone last night instead of Greinke, would anyone care?
-
I want to throw a ball 94 MPH towards your face and see if you just quietly walk away
-
So if you unintentionally plunk a guy twice your size and he turns toward the mound, you will keep your mouth shut and ignore him?
Most guys do. I wouldn't but I have a shitty attitude about that sort of stuff. I was hoping an Oakland player would get plunked tonight because we were getting beat so bad. Greinke should have said only said something if it was Amarista. He threw it high and tight. He ran his mouth. He decided to take Quentin on head to head. And he lost. It sucks, but that kind of seemed like the obvious outcome
-
Ahh there's that wonderful macho bullshit sports culture.
Where people are pussies because they don't like seeing players miss a few months because Carlos Quentin leans out over the plate(hence him being HBP so much) and can't control his temper when he does get hit.
Shit happens. I have no problem with Greinke, but it happened. Brawls are going to be completely taken out of baseball because people are going to throw a fit about it like the Posey thing. It's annoying
-
Ellis didn't look prepared for it at all and Greinke had a smug look on his face when he said what he said. I can't see what he said though. I'm not even saying it was a justified charge. But it looked as if Greinke's words caused it

I didn't know so many Dodger lovers were on this board. Carlos wasn't going to do anything until Greinke said something. Greinke stood his ground but he paid the price. Carlos is a hot head, but the ball was at his shoulders then Greinke ran his mouth. I don't blame either one of them for doing what they did. Greinke got the short end of it. And tell Mattingly to quit crying. He has a 230 million dollar payroll and he wants to complain about MLB rules?

I wish Scioscia would have had Frieri or Jepsen or somebody nail an A's player. Not up high or anything. But just something to send an effin message.

I can't believe I'm coming down this Saturday to watch this...
-
This is embarrassing
-
We should stop threatening to score. The other team always comes back and puts up runs. Then we get back up and do nothing
-
Poor Rojas. It can't be fun calling these games

The difference is we try to articulate our points with substance. Lifetime rarely adds anything to any discussion, instead referring to our comments as bullshit.
I don't do that to him or you.
Prove it

Great job Vargas
-
I don't like it. Now they have 2 outs
-
I like how this inning is starting
-
We have a catcher that might be able to hit.
After years of Mathis, I am ok with Iannetta. But that sucked
-
I kind of wish I had changed my name to Troll Daddy before he switched over. That way I could go around saying ridiculous things and no one would really mind because they are just used to it
-
Dammit. Hit it hard too.
Still, Iannetta has to do something there. That shit is absolutely killing us
-
Anything but that would have been nice
-
Howie has been in a beast mode to start this year. I like this Howie. A lot
-
I don't really think it falls all on Scioscia, but when Lifetime and Troll Daddy team up to argue that it isn't his fault, I can't help but change my mind

Where Should Mike Trout Hit in the Lineup

Whatever Scioscia does, we should do the opposite
