    Hopefully Wade LeBlanc received his boarding pass for his flight back to SLC when Scioscia went to the mound in the 4th inning tonight... so... who else can we put on the firing line? The next start in this slot is against Oakland... well, dang. That's going to work out great... for Oakland.

    Of course the coaching staff is going to try to stretch the starting pitchers, knowing that there aren't a lot of off days the rest of the way and the bullpen is going to be carrying a heavy load. It's just good fortune that they had the lead large enough to test their luck tonight.

    We also have to opportunity of rotating these guys through the DH spot, so the rest isn't a big deal, especially since tomorrow's game is in the same time zone. I'm not sure 3-4 innings is a big deal in terms of energy for tomorrow anyway. The risk of injury is small but still there, so why not have better defensive players in when you're ahead?
