I get what you are saying but he had 2 on and they were down 5-1 earlier. That’s not helpless. A big hit and they are right back in it. No excuse for an all time great to check out or feel helpless. To me it’s more likely that the other guys look and see him weakly striking out and it ruins them. “If he can’t do it how can I?”

Go ahead. Angels can finish in 4th place every year with or without him. I’m over his slumping although I expect him to start hitting vs Miami and Baltimore. Never come up big vs the good teams. I think if/when he ever makes the postseason again he will disappoint. Too many good pitchers for him.

The “looking” strike outs are the ones that kill me. I think Trout doesn’t want to expand his strike zone so he watches strike 3 more than he should. He needs to expand it with 2 strikes because there’s only 1 guy after him who is a threat to do any damage. Bring in Vlad Sr for some hitting lessons. He didn’t care about the strike zone.

He can’t be any worse than Wade so might as well give him a shot. He’s played for 8 teams already and he’s only 31 so he must be good..

Crap happens and the Angels needed something to show they still have a pulse. I really think Crawford should have gotten more games. He came over the back and started throwing forearms. Other than that who cares? 2 bad teams that at least were entertaining for one day. Seattle’s about the most irrelevant team in MLB history and that city is a cesspool so I don’t care what their fans or players say or do. At least we managed to get one championship and don’t have to fly a pathetic Regular Season Champs flag.
