    Ohtani done after 2, unfortunately. The nightmare scenario happened. Though it could've been much worse. Considering he only threw 66 pitches, he should be able to pitch on Sunday (and then every Sunday afterwards).

    Yeah, and the stupid media keeps overhyping this game as if it's something other than a regular season game. I was worried that he would let the pressure get to him. Looks like it did.

    There's really a different feel about this game and series. It's April yet it feels like a postseason series. I don't think it would be that way without Ohtani. If Ohtani is at his best, there's not much any hitter can do. Hopefully he won't put any unnecessary pressure on himself and treats this game like any other regular season game.

    Simmons is one of three players on the Angels (Trout and Ohtani being the others) that I want to see spend the rest of their career here. Hopefully Eppler gives him a contract extension.

    The Angels should have anticipated that Richards would not be as effective after that UCL tear. Yet another reason why Eppler should have signed a starter but didn't for whatever reason.
