Oh well. Time to mute Pat and Gubi and switch screens for something interesting.
-
The Angels scuffled through that rough top of the second, but tonight they did not wilt and cut the Twins' lead.

10-16 after 26 games. 136 games left until offseason.

Oh well. Get the Twins tomorrow, Angels.

GO ANGELS!!!!
25 games played and 137 left to play until
postseason/offseason. -
New York's ruling says the Orioles have a plane to catch and can't spend any more time in OC.

Well, I hope I haven't missed all the Angels' scoring tonight. Time to score some more.
-
GO ANGELS!!!!
Start the second 10,000 games with a victory over Baltimore like Grba and Kluzewski started the first 10,000 in 1961!
Or ... the Angels could go for a new record team losing streak. It's at 5 starting tonight. The record is already reachable if the Halos keep on keeping on.

Sigh. Tuesday. Same time. Same channel.
-
Well. Down to the last Trout.
-
A solid single could tie this.

I was 12 when the Angels won their very first MLB game. Only the toddlers in this audience will be around for No. 20,000.
Rally round the monkey. Angels and win No. 10,000.
-
Adell has saved the Angels from getting skunked in the team's 10,000th game. It took 7 innings to get the run. Still trailing by 3 runs.
-
Solid beginning for Detmers.
-
GO ANGELS!!!
You only get one 10,000th game, Win it!! Clip the Birds tonight.

Swept away down the Ohio River.
Time for lunch.

Well, Matty V notes the Angels have lost 7 straight to the Redlegs. Today could be No. 8 imminently.
-
Looking ahead for the next 9 home games the Angels face 6 games against tough Orioles and Phillies and 3 against Minnehaha, which has been playing at the Halos' own level of frustration.
-
Alphonse and Gaston. Gaston finally held onto the ball.
-
With the way the Angels have been hitting, 2-0 might seem like 20-0.

Gameday Thread (4/27/24): Twins @ Angels: Soriano on the mound, no Sano, Neto hitting 2nd

Well, I stopped paying attention at 7-3. I looked over to the muted screen once in a while, usually noticing the Twins had more runs each time. Wow, 16-5. A good pitcher could win every night with 5 runs in his support.
Start a winning streak on Sunday, Angels. But I'm not holding my breath about it.
