  1. Gray be gone, good game Angels. It's nice to watch a game when our rookie out pitches an Ace.
  2. Great Move Scioscia bringing in Salas. You're a genius
  3. Tropeano Is pitching Great so far. That is good news for this team the way things look with Heaney and Wilson.
  4. We got Tropeano and Perez for Conger right? That was a pretty good trade for us.
  5. We seem to be using the infield shifts a lot more this year. Isn't not shifting the reason Dipoto quit.
  6. Anyone else annoyed by the drummer. Even if I was an A's fan it would drive me nuts.
  7. Most of you that have been on AW for a long time wouldn't know, but the refuges from the now defunct Angels' board know that I have been pushing for Cowart to take over 3B from before Freese went on the DL last season. I knew his chances were slim to none when the Escobar trade went down. I was hoping Kaleb would have such a great spring, it would force the team's hand but he barely got a look at in spring training. He is such a good fielder that even if he only hit .250 it would be a no brainer. I have a gut feeling he will hit much higher than that though.
  8. I wouldn't be too quick to give up on Cowart as a good hitting, good fielding 3B under team control and on the cheap for years to come. I would be more worried about 2B fielding. Johnny appears to improved over last year but he still isn't the best player with a bat or a glove.
  9. Trout plays 81 games at the Big A, 9 games each at Oakland, and Seattle, 2 games at Chavez Ravine. How many HRs would he hit playing 81 games at Texas and to a lessor extent Houston? How about if he played a majority of games in the ALE division? He maybe the best player since Babe Ruth hit in the East. Correa and Harper both hit in easier stadiums than Anaheim. Stadiums can be a majors factor in the number of HR a player hits.
  10. Light that Baby Up!!! Good game Weaver!!!! Getting a split against Texas with our offense is a victory all by itself.
  11. Damn lucky he was unable to do so. I bet he couldn't give Shoemaker away. We need to score at least 8 runs when ever he pitches. Skaggs will be good guaranteed.
  12. The minor league call up was the only one that had Weave's number every AB. The rest of the Rangers just couldn't catch up to that blazing fast ball of Jered's.
  13. The Bees are winning their third game of the season against no loses. Not bad for the worst farm in baseball.
  14. Weaver is doing OK so far with what velocity he still can muster. The offense needs to step it up and help him out. He can only do so much.
