    There's no real incentive to put him on the 60-day yet. For position players, there's nothing between the 10-day and the 60-day IL, so it's fine to leave him on the 10-day until they need space on the 40-man. You can stay on the 10-day indefinitely.

I guess if the argument is that Adams needs regular playing time at AAA, I can maybe understand it--but, again, I'd honestly prefer someone like Jason Martin who at least has a 0.00001% chance of turning into a usable piece beyond this year. Pillar is just sucking up a roster spot. I cannot remember a time when I've been more frustrated and disgusted with the state of the team.
