    This has to be frustrating to fans. A day off before a day off less than a week after the all star break. And this for a game that requires very little actual exertion.

    I know I'm not a super smart baseball guy but sometimes I don't get how they use pitchers. Two new bullpen guys, the guy with the ERA of 2.02 pitches the 8th with the bottom of the lineup and the guy with the ERA of 3.38 pitches the 9th and the top of the lineup??

    Was just thinking the same thing. I blame that on Trout though, he just should have climbed the wall and jumped 30 feet in the air to snag that.... Loser.

    I think I see why pujols "heats up" in the second half. The good pitchers are dropping like flys enough that Edwin Jackson and his 7+ ERA is brought in. Getting better or pitchers getting worse?

    That's where I feel bad for the pitcher. That's s hit. Should be an error when the outfielder is standing there like an idiot and the ball lands 5 feet behind them.

    Why is it that the angels seem to be the only ones "robbed" by the marine layer. Must go away in the top of every inning at the stadium.

    I was watching that. Now teams can use that as s play to break up double plays. Just charge back st the first baseman. I'm amazed they didn't call the runner out from interference.

    I got beat up for this the other day but not sure why he can't "rehab" with the big club.

    Given 2 walks and 7 hits through 4 innings you can argue that only 3 runs is a good job.
