gurn67 got a reaction from mota_madness in admit it, you're ever so slightly concerned
Am I concerned? No. However, I remember most of the Lakers' fans not being concerned during their lackluster pre-season.

I love when people keep bringing up 2002. If this team had that 2002 manager who actually gave a damn, and that talented bunch of coaches, I wouldn't be as depressed.

Remembe when Scioscia had Joe Maddon, Ron Roenicke and Bud Black as his coaches and was considered the best manager in baseball?

The people who always complain about Mike's constantly changing lineups haven't had much to gripe about this year.

If I had Bees' season tickets, I'd be petrified.

gurn67 got a reaction from Pinch Runner in Selig wants tougher penalties for PED users
Exactly. This guy sat there during the McGwire / Sosa sham because it boosted ratings and attendance. Also, he sat there while Pumpkin Head broke the all-time home run record and said nothing. Now, he's going to act tough while the Hall of Fame voters and the newer generation of players who were tested in the minor leagues are the only one's who've ever stood up to that generation of cheaters. As far as I'm concerned, Maris still has the single season home run record and Aaron is still the Home Run King.
