    The general consensus is that you could attribute a lot of Bachman's control issues to the new ball they are testing in Double-A. Not every pitcher has been affected but it looks like Bachman is definitely one of them. This was mentioned by Yovan's grandpa who posts in the Kenyon Yovan thread we have.

    Nelson Rada reached base 3 more times today (single and 2 walks) with no strikeouts (has a 6:11 strikeout to walk ratio this month). He also stole his 15th base of the season.

    I get the logic but I really don’t think it’s that deep.

    Nelson Rada is adjusting to the older level of competition in Low-A. Two hits (a double and a single) with 2 walks, no strikeouts and a stolen base tonight. His OPS is up to .665. Still think it’s very questionable that they tested him at this level at 17 years old but he’s definitely adjusting and hopefully it pays off.
