    I'd say remember Richards in 2012-13. Minors, starter, bullpen, spot starter. Always had good stuff, just couldn't seem to put it together. Similar case with Shoey, he needs more starts and he's been serviceable in the back end of the rotation.

    According to 1090 AM in San Diego, the Angels have expressed interest in starting pitcher Ian Kennedy. One of the would be trade pieces looks to be Kole Calhoun. The Padres want depth in the outfield with the constant injuries to Carlos Quentin and possible trade of Chris Denorfia. Then again, just rumors.
