I wouldn't call a few thousand tickets a "ton" by any stretch....I was there and only a few gaps here and there way up top were empty. Not bad at al, considering its a 7pm start on a school/work night.

At least you guys didn't waste $116 on tickets, $70 on dinner $40 on drinks and $35 on merchandise to watch that crap.

The Angels have right around 32k season ticket holders this year, I am one of them. 32k season tickets in a park that only holds 45k is nowhere near "struggling" to sell tickets. Learn some math.

The Angels have over 32,000 season ticket holders this year and have been averaging around 30k last 10 years. rangers have just over 25,000 season ticket holders despite having a ballpark that holds close to 5k more people AND coming off back to back World Series appearances. Season tickets are expensive and no way in hell your casual fan buys one, yet the Angels have over 7k more season ticket holders in a ballpark that holds less people. Tell us again who the real fans are genius.

Angels are predicted by pretty much everyone to have a better record than the Reds or Rangers and be in the World Series. That was not the performance of a team predicted to be a serious contender.

For a team expected to seriously contend for a championship, they shouldn't be afraid to go into Cinci and Texas and then perform so terribly. Not good.
