    Texas can't move up in the division standings. Unfortunately I'm not sure I like Oakland winning any better. In 2-3 years I'll probably be rooting for Houston to take BOTH Texas and Oakland to school, while the Angels will clinch the "most expensive team in MLB per win" award with a $190M payroll down in the cellar...

    All we gave up was Tyler Chatwood. 2.36 ERA in the most extreme hitters park in baseball. 5 more years of club control. Bobby Wilson + Tyler Chatwood >>>>> Chris Iannetta + Joe Blanton

    At least we're not DFL in GIDP's. Angels have 96. The Cardinals have 99. Only thing the Cardinals have over us is the best record in MLB. Wins are a false stat.

    Walks are a false stat. CJ can walk the bases loaded as much as he wants as long as he strands 'em.

    Agree. Tomorrow is likely a committee game (Williams has been struggling a bit of late). We will want our bullpen as fresh as possible.

    Josh Hamilton and Zack Greinke both have offensive WAR (batting) of 0.8. Considering Greinke went 2-2 in today's game, he might actually have more war as a batter than Josh Hamilton come tomorrow.

    Pujols was hobbling to second on some hit-and-run attempts. It didn't look pretty. We would have been better off keeping Tyler Chatwood and Bobby Wilson on the team. Iannetta = walking machine, both as a batter and as a not particularly good pitch framer.
