I think he'll be fired after the season. This team won't suddenly become good enough to take this division, not gonna happen. So as far as I'm concerned Sciosh is done.
Here's the concern for me though... I don't want to inherit an interim coach that it takes two years to realize isn't good enough. That's what we're looking at with our hitting coach, the dude made a little difference and suddenly he's the answer.
As far as I'm concerned, it needs to be blown up not because of only because of Sciosh and ideological differences with DiPoto, but because they need to rebuild the staff. We need a new hitting and pitching coach, IMO. So basically just blow the whole thing up and build the whole staff around a new guy like Stoneman did when he stacked Sciosh's staff in the beginning.

I wouldn't change a thing with this lineup right now.  Tinkering with it when these guys aren't hitting isn't always the way to go.  Hamilton WILL get hot, just a matter of time.  Plus, Pujols hasn't exactly struggled of late, the protection thing is overrated in a lineup like this because no pitcher wants to put anyone on when they play this team.
 
Let it roll for a while longer and he'll get hot when someone else in that group gets cold.  It's all good.

He just won a lot of respect from myself by saying that.  I don't think he'll get through 10 years, personally I am hoping for 5-7 years of good production.  And if he makes good on that, yeah...  
 
There's a reason he has as much respect around the league as he does, it's not just the fact he's been one of the game's best.  It's also his approach, and what a genuinely good man he is.

I can't disagree, however last season I WAS feeling them and they fell flat.  I think this team is the opposite, and it's Trout and the addition of Hamilton that is going to change the equation.  
 
We're going to see a tough, resilient team that can come back at any point in a game by hanging serious runs on opponents...  provided we don't have a blowpen again.

At the time I didn't like the trade because I felt Morales would kill it in the contract season, and for a rival.  His potential impact is much greater for the Mariners than Vargas is for us due to their extreme need for a MOTO bat.  So to a certain extent I think AD has a valid point, even though there is no real reason to go on about it now.
