  1. Scott Weiland was/is a terrible singer. I saw them live a long time ago and he couldn't sing. It was like he couldn't hear the band playing. Totally out of key. People were looking at each other trying to figure out what was going on. Most people left halfway through the set.

  2. We should also ban people who troll and then say "I'm serious. That's just my opinion." And yet we don't. Because of that I think We should keep the "convo" people, too.

Calling someone a troll who simply speaks his mind and tries to get across (on certain subjects) what he may be feeling at that point is wrong. Unlike you, HM, some people here have a sense of humor. Carry on....

  3. Damn. I recently realized that I wasn't getting a very good buzz from my regular beer (which is Bud Light). I decided to go with a micro-brew IPA (which was ridiculously expensive) and I got the best buzz from it. Maybe they're lowering the alcohol content in the old standards. Wouldn't surprise me.

  4. ""Why would a band like RUSH regroup, yuck."

Oh, the irony considering that Rush only changed one member and that was after their first album while the two douche and douchier are the only two from the original Eagles lineup still in with god knows how many lineup changes.  Mojo Nixon was right.

I understand how Henley feels. Rush never put out songs nearly as good as Dirty Laundry or All She Wants To Do is Dance.

  5. You veg dudes would like Native Foods. I only know of the one in Costa Mesa.

That place is great. I've only been to the one in CM. Don't know if there are others.

Ray and Tank should try the Buddhist temple in Hacienda Heights.  And no, I'm not joking.  Pure vegetarian food, but I hear it is fantastic.

That's interesting. I'll have to look into that.

  6. I lived in Albuquerque during my senior year in HS. In SoCal, I didn't try at all in classes and was a solid C student (with an occasional D and B if I particularly disliked or liked a class/teacher). In Albuquerque, I actually studied way less and didn't take any classes seriously and got all As and a few Bs. Maybe it has changed in the last 20 years (I hope so), but their school system out there was complete crap. You practically got a C on a test for spelling your name right.
