    I thought that for some time too. Then I went back and listened to In Utero. It was way better than I remembered. It's held up really well. I think, if Courtney Love hadn't had Kurt killed, he would have continued to get better and better.

    Yeah, they were great. They blew their load with Operation: Mindcrime. Empire was just OK. They had the Pink Floyd rip-off hit. After that, they just lost it.

    Yeah, forgot about Alice in Chains. It was always comical when he tried to sing like Layne Staley. He did a decent Eddie Vedder impersonation though. Alice in Chains was the best of all those bands. Facelift and Dirt are still amazing.

    Leatherwolf's album Street Ready should be on the list. Saw them open for Queensryche at Irvine Meadows back in '89. They killed it.

    STP are the biggest rip-off artists ever. They rode the coattails of all the grunge bands. It's like they listened to Pearl Jam, Nirvana and Soundgarden and tried to copy everything those bands did.
