Denzer Guzman being bumped up to AA is...interesting. Curious if they actually think he's ready for it, or they just need another body after Fontenelle went down.

Are we supposed to pretend the former player isn't Mark Gubicza?

Even better, by mid-August?
Neto SS
Ohtani UNICORN
Trout CF
Moniak LF
Drury 2B
Moose 3B
Renfroe RF
Cron 1B
O’Hoppe C
Grichuk starts in both LF and RF as 4th OF?
Rengifo super utility guy at 2B, 3B, SS, and a little OF?
Moose and Moniak vs righties, Grichuk & Rengifo vs lefties...(chef's kiss)

Lineup? Assuming Neto is healthy enough to go tonight.
SS Neto
DH Ohtani
CF Moniak
1B Cron
3B Moustakas
RF Renfroe
C Thaiss
LF Grichuk
2B Rengifo
With his bat heating up and his comments about "not playing banged up anymore", I wonder if they put Renfroe behind Ohtani to break up the lefties and attempt to scare teams away from just walking Sho every time...hoping his production from the last 5 games or so is legit.

As others have mentioned, to me that would scream desperation. The FO is surely feeling the "Angels must win now" pressure from just about everywhere, but it's hard to think a low-risk trade for an upgrade over Thaiss/Wallach wouldn't be the move.

Loup DFA for the 40-man spot? Unless O'Hoppe is ok and they don't need to add Wallach?

Sadly expecting a 5:43 pm "Rendon scratched for the second night in a row" tweet from Sam Blum

"The veteran reliever for the Cowboys was a reliable member of the team’s bullpen. In 29 relief appearances, Phansalkar went 6-3, 3.46. Known for his unusual movement on his 92-95 fastball, hitters hit a meek .222 against him as his fastball proved diabolical to square up. The redshirt junior compliments his fastball with an 82-86 mph slider and a 82-84 mph changeup that serves as a solid offering to lefthanded hitters. Phansalkar’s arsenal projects extremely well for the pro game versus wood bats. He profiles as an efficient middle relief arm."
Sounds like a harder throwing Jimmy Herget?
