  1. Maybe some of us have a little more sense of urgency. But then again since no one is being held accountable by you this year, I can see your preference to "punt".
  2. We were also expecting the young guys (Neto etc) to take a big step forward in development. So far it appears that several of the new core are regressing. This is not at all what we planned on. Hoping this gets addressed in the next 30 games
  3. Obviously we all expect improvement over last year (16-14) through 30 games, at the very least. After a "no move is sometimes better than the wrong move" offseason and a wholesale coaching staff change, fans put their trust in Perry (successful Braves track record), and RW (Successful Ranger track record). Now at 9-12 and with only 1 series win vs. Tier 6 Miami, the Halos will need to shake off a 3 game losing streak and go (7-2) vs. Resurgent Cincy, Red Hot Tier 2 Baltimore, and vulnerable Minnesota Areas needing improvement. Infield defense Starting pitching Baserunning mental errors Situational hitting. Bottom half of the lineup production Mental toughness to prevail in one run games. Training staff Young player development As Anges fans, are we pressing the panic button now, or after the first 30? Or do we have the luxury to wait until 60 games before we throw in the towel on the season and look instead for small glimmers of hope for future success? Some of our tenured posters have already conceded the season, and find watching the games more enjoyable through the lens of a very low bar for the Halos. Others are more hopeful, expecting a .500 season record and measurable progress toward a competitive 2026 season. Personally I would like to get what we were promised by Perry and the new staff.
  4. Having our #1 perform so poorly in the first month series was probably the most important metric Miss
  5. Rendon didn't achieve the BA or HR metric but he did beat the "still active" metric by 1/3 of an inning
  6. Coming from a wonderful human being like yourself, I'll give you a pass on this comment. Hoping to see more than your "c" game by the All star break.
  7. You threw out results and I was simply asking for your quantifiable expectations.
  8. So what are your success metrics in these areas for the next 20? edit. Nice putz reaction from Jason as expected from someone unable to formulate a coherent plan at most, or just be a nice person at least
  9. Must win game. Cincy was trending down, now it's the halos trending down. Big ramifications with immediate future trajectory on the line
  10. You were pretty spot on with some important focus areas
  11. The 4th place Reds were trending down having lost 3 of their last 4 Series including getting Broomed by Seattle most recently. Only series they won was vs Tier 6 White Sox. Your Obi Wan mind tricks about the "tough schedule" are a failure.
  12. The halos are 8-10 mostly healthy vs a relatively easy schedule consisting of mostly Tier 3-6 teams. Once the Tier 1-2 teams show up along with the AL west and injuries, things can go sideways real quick.
  13. The entire offseason produced a Tier 6 result. Perry needed to do better, and unfortunately for him, it was probably his last offseason with the Halos.
  14. Good you know your ankle is on the mend. (I saw the pic). Hope you recover 100% movement and not too much PT involved. In the meantime keep providing the good insight and content.
  15. Normally I don't comment on Tier placements prior to the initial release date, and our cruise ship just left the Grand Caymans so I am not digging into details, just giving new posters a perview of data points that will be considered
