From Baseball America this morning: Caden Dana, RHP, Angels: Dana was sent straight to Double-A to start the season, which was a very aggressive push for a 20-year-old who came into the season with just 14 full-season starts. So far, he’s had no issues with Double-A hitters. Dana threw seven scoreless innings against Pensacola on Sunday. He allowed two hits and one walk while striking out eight. Dana is now 1-1, 1.87 with 19 strikeouts, three walks and only eight hits allowed in 18.1 innings.

Taylor Blake Ward made a trip out to San Bernardino to visit the Inland Empire 66er's and caught up with Los Angeles Angels prospects RHP's Riley Bauman, Justin Britt and Barrett Kent, and outfielder Joe Redfield. Continuing to show his rotation prowess during the spring, he has carried that into a strong start to the 2024 season. Now he's pitching professionally in a rotation. Logan takes us into his arsenal and how pitching became part of his baseball future. After suffering two Tommy John surgeries, Riley Bauman stayed on the radar of Angels scout, K.J. Hendricks, which led to a 13th round selection in the 2023 MLB Draft. Bauman shined during instructional league play, showcasing new velocity and promising secondaries. Riley takes us through his journey to pro ball and talks about the early stages of his professional career. Joe Redfield was near the top of most offensive categories across Division-1 baseball his junior season that led to a fourth round selection by the Angels in 2023. Joe talks to us about his junior season, early professional career, personal goals for the season, and how his swing plane and speed can carry him into a Major League future.

Marcel Ozuna was charged with a DUI & arrested in 2021 for aggravated assault strangulation & misdemeanor battery family violence charges. He was allegedly seen by police grabbing a woman’s neck & throwing her against a wall. He was put on probation and suspended by MLB for 20 games. Time served. All is good. Yet, Trevor Bauer is still out of work, cleared of all charges. What gives?
