The spring roster and depth thereof is well below average and filled with more prospects than veteran guys. That combined with we don't have Madson, Burnett (heck I haven't even seen Downs pitch) and Scioscia never puts in a full lineup to play more than 4-5 innings --- don't worry about this guys.

I think the spring training roster depth that the Angels have is pretty below average. Guys like Field, Cousins, Shuck, along with some of the arms we're running out there, all either not ready to face big league hitters/pitching or as I noted, 4-A type guys. Once we start rolling out our BP arms that will be on the 25-man roster and our full lineup will play for 6-8 innings, then we can judge the success/failures of this team.
