Orange Lives Matter

With that thought lets use Albert Pujols as an example with the Pujols Family Foundation for kids with Down Syndrome.  There's no theatrics there with the Pujols Foundation just legit hard work and fund raising for an actual cause.. 
The day I see MANY kneelers do something real and of substance that makes the black community better that's the day I will believe in their stance.  YES there have been a few exception but I really haven't seen anything tangible by most of the kneelers.  

Thank you Chuck.  I love what you've done here.  Been around for years and even though I've never posted MUCH until today and I feel like I know many of you for years.  I'm not here to troll, I have another account that doesn't get used much and I'm letting everyone know that this is a burner account because I have to protect myself from the virtue signal mob that are out there.

So where's the justice on your part?  Are you cool with blacks hurting more blacks than whites hurting blacks?  Just so you know me wanting blacks to be better doesn't make me the bad guy but keep the theatrics going that'll for sure fix all the problems

So nobody is allowed to have differing opinions now a days?  Are my thoughts that lethal?
 

There's nothing of substance to these kneeling theatrics.  Kneeling is not ending black on black crimes or black on black killings.  Kneeling won't cure the broken family and fatherless family structure of the black community.  Kneeling won't fix poverty.  Kneeling won't fix the lack of TRUE education with regards to reading, writing and math skills.  Kneeling won't end racism or unit us all. 
 
Yes there are problems and yes something needs to be done but accountability is a two way street and our black brothers and sisters need to do their part as well and keep their community in check with accountability and peaceful actions because the way they're going about it now with their RICH white liberal friends is doing more damage than good for their cause no matter what the media says

I won't go into it much, most of you know my politics & where I stand, but I disagree with anyone who kneels during the anthem and I wholeheartedly am opposed to BLM the organization.
All Lives Matter. Period! Including the Black Police & Black Men & Children who were gunned down by Black thugs in the streets. Until BLM stands against crimes against their own and against creating more racial divide and hate toward law enforcement, they're nothing but angry political activists more defined as a Marxist hate group who have explicit stated goals of dismantling America as we know it and replacing it with a socialist doctrine. BLM wasn't even for Black senator Tim Scott's police reform bill. These cities are run by Democratic mayors & state Governors! The same politicians who are silent about the high crime rates in their streets and do nothing, yet they want to defund law enforcement.

Keep this stuff out of sports. There's enough protests in the streets and on local and national news networks. We don't need this in the game!

I watched the game last night. They showed this moment briefly. Commented on it briefly. If you left the room, you could have missed it.
Twitter is a whole different animal.  Things get beaten to death on there in no time.  I'm not sure why beat writers do play by play, but of course they were going to mention it.  It's a story.
For some reason, it pisses people off. What's the big deal, though? Kenyan Middleton feels like he needs to do this.  He's not hurting anyone  He is not disrespecting anyone or any piece of fabric. . It should not marr anyone's enjoyment of the game.  Get over it.

Snowflake my ass.  I completely agree with tchula on this.  I felt the same way.  We understand people took a knee, now get on with the game.  

I appreciate all you do Jeff, but yesterday you made more tweets about the kneeling than about the game itself.  I completely support Middleton's right to kneel, but many of us go to sports to get away from the struggles of society.  It's our escapism from the hardships of real life.  I know some of it will overlap to some degree, and maybe that's appropriate, but I sure hope that this doesn't become the new norm or our Angels coverage isn't dominated by social commentary.  I know I may get criticized for this point of view, but I believe many folks feel the same way.  

I watch for the same exact reasons.  To allow my brain to get away from what from what every other channel is showing.  I love how the terms "Snowflakes, Karen's, etc." all go to describe someone on the right & someone on the left.  Hilarious.
