  1. its the reason you ignore context did you ever hear of Sonny Gray? if you dont want to research its no wonder youre so clueless
  2. once again you ignore context it was because of the homers at yankee stadium he pitched differently at home , he said so himself. So you think you know more than he does.....thats good to know . you just proved how clueless you truly are go look at the splits before you make claims you dont understand im going on what he said. youre talking out of your rear end
  3. except you ignore 26 more batters faced in only 4 innings. pro rata stats are less valuable when you ignore context 26 more hits and 2 more hrs allowed at home in 26 at bats thats why context matters. you keep believing what you want though remember he pitched 82 innings at home and 78 on the road thats 4 innings. and in those 4 innings he gave up 26 more hits and 2 more hrs context matters trying to avoid the short porch affected him keep believing what you want though the only thing grandiose about you are your delusions of grandeur in regard to your own intelligence
  4. but thats affected by facing way more batters at home due to the higher whip is it not? and a much higher batting average against at home when you ignore context you get stupid conclusions but as i say believe what you wish
  5. i dont know where youre getting your stats from he had a 1.391 whip at home and a 1.195 on the road. and a 286 batting average against at home versus.226 on the road. but believe what you want
  6. from what i hear thats not the case, the yankee turned down 2 trades for him because the teams wanted the Yankees to retain salary
  7. you have a right to be frustrated. especially when the two aditions they have made have no track record ow EVER WINNING anything in their careers
  8. shows how little you know, theres something to be said about being able to take the ball every 5th day something none of our pitchers seem able to do, the ERA spike was due tothe spike in Homeruns allowed in Yankee Stadium but hey have it your way
  9. i dont know why you guys are so dead set against Happ. he went 19-8 in a year and a half in NY in their band box and he takes the ball every 5th day and in the last 4 years hes won more games than Kluber and Keuchel as well
  10. first post, i have to think Jay Happ is on his way to the angels. Eppler will call on his buddy Cashman and say I need a starter it will help lower the yankees tax bill and at this point Happ isnt a bad veteran to have probably wont cost anything of substance either
