Nice! Which Little League did you play with? I played at Olive Little League in Orange, only 2-3 miles from the Big A. We also had a special day there every year and wore our uniforms, and one year we got to play catch in the outfield before the game (or maybe after?) this was 1979-82~ish for me

Ahhh... I have very vague early childhood memories of this first configuration of the Big A. I do remember the A being out in CF. Mostly I remember it being enclosed for when the Rams moved in, in 1980. And I was working there in 1997 when it was re-shaped back to baseball-only, more or less its current configuration. The Big A feels like home... between Angels games, Rams games, and 2-3 Supercross races every year, I've spent a LOT of time there. And will be there again Saturday!

True, but I like that he went for it. Early in the year he let a few similar balls drop that I thought he coulda got. Be aggressive on that ball, especially early in the game when you have a 2 run cushion
