    Try not to look stupid? I think a majority of us would agree, it's far too late for that. Will they look more stupider if the guy is an ace on the mound for us, when everyone else turned their back on him? The team can still rebuild with him starting every 5 days. At least it would be something to look forward to...competitive fire on the mound...especially considering it's getting to the point where there's really no reason to even turn on the games.

    Actually these kinds of series' are the ones where the Angels help wake up the struggling teams, and typically lead them on to a hot streak. We're going to get crushed.

    It's not like it would matter. He could go 7 innings, give up 2 runs, have 10 k's then either 1 of 2 situations arise after he exits the game: 1) Bats are cold that night and we lose 2-0 2) Bullpen is brought in and implodes allowing another 2-3 runs and we lose 5-4. Or both, probably.

    Didn't Wash just talk about why he didn't want Adell in the top half of the lineup? Then he moves him to the 2 slot. Hasn't Willie Calhoun been a hit machine since he got here? Moves him down in the lineup. Didn't Wash say he wanted consistent lineups? Seems like it's shuffled every game.
