  1. "Of course, thanks Erica. Appreciate you." Woaaaah there buddy, slow your role, it's only your first game! I just become mush when girls do their hair that way, don't know what it is...
  2. Adell barely seems to swing and the ball just FLIES off his bat. Oh we're already losing? Why am I not surprised.
  3. Jeez...even watching the condensed game was painful. Seems way too often that Neto falls behind in the count, and it ends in a strikeout. Adell is still for the most part seeing the ball well. Yeah we had some homers, but I don't expect Schanuels to be a spark that sets him straight. But goddamn every time we score some runs, pitching gives up walks and immediately gives it right back the next inning, and THAT is frustrating. Takes the wind out of the sails for the offense, that's for sure.
  4. 1) Sure. Whatever the number needs to be to make it a reward. 2) And I agree, which is why I said a walk, or a run, because let's face it...if the pitchers are doing their jobs, the batters *should* hypothetically be getting themselves out 70+% of the time. But if you're giving up a run, without a walk, without getting an out...well...you're just having a textbook poor inning, and shouldn't be rewarded for that, either.
  5. I feel like we say this in the game day thread every time he makes an appearance for the team.
  6. Lead off walk. Buh. Followed by a single. Jeez. Anyone notice the New Era logo on the Angels caps are almost gold? Not white, like on all other teams ballcaps?
  7. I don't know how anyone does that. I can't stand half of that lineups stupid faces.
  8. Want to talk arm injuries? This dude Mason Miller for the A's is throwing against the Yanks right now, and he's hitting 101. 101 MPH+ pitches this year, he's had 42 Rest of the league, all other pitchers? 36 How could there possibly be arm injuries? This dude is insane. Just to throw that out there, the A's have the best jerseys in all of sport. They're sick as hell.
  9. Guess what blew my mind yesterday? Seeing Fletcher show up in the 9th inning wearing a Braves uniform. Talk about a blessing in disguise for that dude. The org, the team on TV tries to sugarcoat it so much, but "Sell" flags should be in red rather than green much sooner than later.
  10. There we go Neto! Let's hope that at bat is the one that turns him around, it would be huge to have a good bat in the 9 hole.
