    i remember him dropping a ball in his very first game with us in Texas that cost us runs, he did the same against the Indians last week, he also runs like he's in cement allowing balls to drop in front of him. his bat is very good, but he is a liability in the field.

    Pujols has 4 years left on his contract, Ohtani will hit 3-4 times a week, Our top prospects are all OF's who are 1 (Jones) or 2 (Adell, Marsh) years from being ready to contribute in the ML's, Upton can't field at 30, at 32 he will be basically a hit only player Our DH spot is going to be overflowing if it isn't already.

    i don't understand why Ohtani can't hit the day before a start, I understand after he pitches if he needs to go into recovery/ice treatment. but the day before he can do his bullpen work before the game and hitting won't hurt his arm.

    both were very close, usually that tv strike zone is very slightly generous up and down while being very slightly tight side to side, at least that's how it usually works out in games.

    .226/.226/.355 on the year, this after a -2.0 WAR season. If you hit .226 that means you still get some hits, doesn't mean you are any good. Plus he's slow, and can't defend. I honestly think he'll be negative WAR again this season.
