Shoe gave up what...10 hits, right? Not sure I'm exactly thrilled about that! I mean, he did only allow 2 runs and didn't look completely awful, but still.....

Then I just don't understand the motivation behind this, if he's 38 and nearing the end of his career...why bother? You got the $1 million from Cleveland, just ride it out and retire. It's not like he's close to any milestones or anything, LOL! Total head-scratcher.

Too little, too late. The damage has been done, his image is far beyond repair! At least he admits he was a dick to his teammates though.

Hope he scored a big contract! I honestly think that's what these guys are thinking. They say to themselves: "Maybe if I bulk up on 'roids and start smashing homeruns I can get a big contract and then if I get popped later down the line...who cares?" It's all about the $$$!

Do any of you really care about Pujols' milestones and his entry into the HOF? Seriously, do you? Because the way I see it...everything he accomplished and everything he will be saluted over will have been done in STL! In 50 years from now no one will remember that he even played for us at all, it'll be like when MJ played for the Wizards for a hot minute. I'm sorry, but ever since his awful first month with us he just hasn't caught on with me, I'm not really a fan of his and likely never will be.
