Charles was right about Matt Shoemaker after seeing him spot start for Weaver in a September Friday night game back in 2013. Shoemaker went on to have a dominant 2014 going 16 - 4 carrying the team to the playoffs and being 2nd in ROY voting. I remember this while I can tune out much of the other stuff. I liked Nava with the Red Sox & he is having a good ST but two mental errors he made today. Running from 2B to 3B with the play in front of him for an easy first out & not being aware of how many outs.

Nava thought there were 3 outs & tossed the ball to a fan. Runner on 1B takes 3rd base. Mike Scioscia saves the day by challenging that runner never tagged up at 1B & he is out.

Tie game 1 - 1.

Leadoff double Nava doubles him in but poor baserunning getting thrown out @ 3B on Trout grounder to SS. Albert singles Calhoun strikes out.
