  1. Yeah it is on Santa Anita just south of the 210.  About a mile from the race track.

I grew up a couple blocks from one of the very first In N Outs.  On Lower Azusa & Doreen in Temple City.

    Spent my racetrack profit there.

Paid for the order of the Monrovia cop that was behind me in line.

Always try to keep the karma good!

  2. Yeah, I think you are right.  When headed South it is that whole huge group of restaurants and truck stop before you head into the mountains.

The one we have here in Arcadia is good.  It is one of the better ones I have eaten at.

I think I ate at that one just last time down there. Off the 210 near Santa Anita??

Had a need to feed my pony addiction and knew Santa Anita was open...After a 6 hour drive, a good place to stretch the legs and bet a few races.

Walked out with a 66 dollar profit and a great afternoon of racing.

  3. you should have a reality show on A&E or Animal Planet dude

I lived in Alaska from 80 to 95. Commercial fished and worked for an Airline up there.. Wien Air Alaska...predates Alaska Airlines.

The reality show fascination with Alaska amazes me..all the gold and fishing and cop shows from up there.

    They are all so successful.

People in the lower 48 seem to be starving for that stuff.

I have to say, most of it is pretty real. I guess there are so many people that cant imagine living like that makes it interesting to them.

I watch them to see how much the places I know, have changed in the last decade.

  4. 11 pages and nobody has chosen Anaheim Angels Stadium, Home of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.. as a place they never eat?

I stopped eating there years ago. Have a couple of the soft coolers they have given away over the years.  I grill up a New York the night before, throw it in the fridge, (MEDIUM RARE) and make steak-onion-cheese sandwiches before heading out to the ballpark.

One of the 2 lb bags of roasted peanuts in the shell from any grocery store (Trader Joe's used to have the best ones but they stopped carrying them)

I usually grab some napkins at the ballpark....but that's it.

  5. If your son has sat or cable in No Cal...find out if he has FSW available to him. If so, get a slingbox.

Pay him the 5 or 10 bucks a month  for your own cable/sat box...hook a slingbox to it.

You can watch through you computer...(if you have a decent internet connection at home).

Slingbox is great. I have a boat in So Cal, but live up near Yosemite. When I am at the boat, I watch all my TV through the slingbox.
