This logo is being used at Dodger Stadium on the Lodge Level. Look familiar to anyone? The sign did direct me to some solid IPA's for a stadium though.

Pretty funny that some think he didn't care and just mailed it in last year.

Probably win the league....

I think thats a common misconception that he lacks the focus to be a true big leaguer because of his confident and optimistic nature.
I don't think it is a misconception really, at least in his past.
What do you do for work for you to have the time to travel so often to these minor league towns? Dude only has played one season or less at each stop and you have seen him quite a bit. I have trouble attending 75 or so Angels games plus another 10-20 Cal League games and they are right down the freeways from me.

Hop monk is a cool place. Visited there a few months ago.
Scott, her voice was way worse before. We chatted for a bit when I was hanging out by myself fr a bit. Not nearly as bad although still no sayin much

My boyfriend collects growlers. Grr.
Depends on the growler but if they arent just a screw top its a great purchase. Fresh beer is a necessity.

I spent the last couple days writing my thesis so drinking was needed.
The list:
Drakes Hopocalypse
Knee Deep Simtra
Lagunitas Sucks
Alpine Nelson
Alpine Duet
Alpine Pure Hoppiness
Pliny
Knuckles
Troegs Nugget Nectar
Growler of Four Peaks Double Knot
-
Best Atmosphere by far is Lagunitas.
Great places: Alpine Brewery, Stone Bistro, Tiki Ti, Rock and Brews, Russian River.....

Still have the voice of a man from smoking two packs a day?
Just throw money in the bar top video poker game and drink for free like I did.
New Frankie's policy. All non tiki drinks comped including shots. Tiki drinks no longer comped. Her voice improved as well. Place was packed all weekend too, making a killing.

Ismael Valdez has to be lurking somewhere.

Saw him once on Rookie Ball. Probably a dozen times in A Ball. 20 times in AA. Another 20-30 times in AAA. PRobably another dozen the past couple Springs. I dunno, I'd say I'm about as familiar with him as a player as any fan is.
That's cool, I don't get out to AA at all and only see them in AAA if I make the drive to Vegas which is rare. Always thought it would be fun to actually watch them at every level. While you can still gauge their improvements with stats I prefer to see them live. Lucho is a perfect example of this, in the Cal League he would put up good numbers but he seemed to lack focus. Has that changed from what you have seen? I find it hard to believe that a player who is not committed at all moments will have a high level of success in the bigs.

T-Spoon has really improved since the Cal league. Saw great growth in his game while there and he continues to progress. I think its a bit of a stretch to think he will be a star in the league but he does have the athleticism to accomplish that. I could see him stepping in as a PBJ some time next season if he continues to improve his offensive side of his skill set.

Brandon,
Last season they discounted H24 as well. They dont get the full discount but 3.00 (i think it was) for a ipa at a baseball game is damn cheap and cheaper than pubs around town.

Great marketing idea that may very well motivate me to finally make the trip... Sounds like a winner; hopefully they'll start selling at Bevmo. Or, I'll get my bar to pick it up!
Only to be available at local Cal League Stadiums. I really like the logo too, may need to pick up a shirt.

Yep, I will be there.
Nope, Alt Bier is not their best. Pugachev Cobra and it isn't even close.

Take em all, someone has to stick, eventually.

If you guys like Orange Wheat you should go to Papago Brewery in Scottsdale and have a few glasses of their Orange Blossom Ale. I am not a fan of most light wheat beers but this one had much more depth and literally tasted like a 50/50 bar. Very easy drinking beer.
-
Heard about this a few days back from H24. Their Double IPA is solid as is their Columbus IPA. Their seasonal IPA Essence is also good. Their top beer is Pugachev's Cobra from their Barrel Roll series.
My favorite part of 66ers is the deal on H24 beer

Too early to be worried about the pen still?

Smart move.

Probably not smart to talk about bad customers who are Angels fans on a site that is an Angels site in a thread that the organization would probably read if they were to come on here.
As for the ticket re-sell situation, really don't care since I attend most. Only games I don't go to is the Red Sox/Yanks/Dodgers and it is not because $$$ is made off of these games as much as I go to over seventy games or so and don't feel like dealing with their fan base. Rather watch those on a couch with good beer. Also, people are mistaken if they think most SSH actually turn a profit by selling tixs throughout the season. I am sure some do but you would need to sell quite a bit of your season to do so. By putting a little effort into it money can still be made on the "premium" games, simple supply and demand.

As stated above, he has said this all spring. The Yankees saw enough to believe it obviously. They wouldn't make the commitment they did if they thought he was going to duplicate last season. Its a risk but I have a feeling that .260 26HR 78RBI is very possible from Vernon this season. I actually hope him the best as long as the Yankees lose. Just happy the FO was able to receive some decent coin in return for a guy who had little to no place in the dugout.
Sweet strike three call to end the Rangers game

Funny how Nathan has said he was throwing a ball to see if he would chase and when he didnt swing he was getting ready for Longoria. Yet some Ranger fans (still cant figure out how you have time to seek out an Angels board, register, and continue to post) says it was a strike. Okay buddy
