He said a guy who can come into a pennant race and get a big lefty out. If you can recall, David Price was at the back end of the Rays pen in 2008.

That draft was atrocious...look at the names which could have been had with the Clarke/Bolden picks...
Aaron Sanchez
Noah Syndergaard
Taijuan Walker
Nick Castellanos
Jedd Gyorko
Andrelton Simmons

No reason to move Howie...a wise man once said "a bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush." Here's my take...
-Let Howie play out this year and "if" Lindsey is ready by mid 2015, you move him at the deadline for prospects.
-Keep Green in the bigs in a utility role, hopefully he can blossom into a poor man's Ben Zobrist.
-Alex Yarbrough, while he has a track record of putting the bat on the ball he hasn't shown much plate discipline. For this reason, I'd give the future nod to Lindsey and look into dealing AY

Cron 2-3 with a HR...hitting .315 6 26
Lindsey 2-4 with a 2B and a 3B....hitting .261 but showing good plate discipline thus far. 13/15 BB/K ratio
Cowart 1-3 with a HR
in related news...Lucho is mashing since returning to the lineup. Hit his 6th HR tonight and is batting an even .300

He's a douche nozzle but the MLB network is loaded with ass clowns...they should go for the trifecta and team him with Rose/Millar.

A little ignorant here, but why aren't they using Bedrosian as a starter? If his stuff is so good, seems like he'd be more valuable as a starter. Anybody know the thought process? (I'll take your answer off the air, thanks)
He was drafted as a starter but most experts thought he would be better suited for the pen. He has a dynamic fastball/slider combination. However to be a successful starter he would need to develop a solid 3rd pitch. That teamed with his injury history will keep him in the pen.

I noticed today that Nick Maronde pitched for AAA Salt Lake...don't recall him being sent out

Nice to Kaleb Cowart start off on the right foot, 3-4 thus far.

Mike Francesa had an interesting take on this...

I just collect bobbleheads. I have a lot but nothing as cool as that gene Autry signed card.
Do you card guys know if there are any cards around from the LA Angels PCL era?
Mother's Cookies made PCL Angels' cards in 1953

I sold off a couple of Matt Harvey cards which I had about $10 into and picked up this...

Dual Allegiance: Can You Love Two Teams?

Love...no, not in good conscious anyways. However, there are a group of baby boomers which I can give a pass. My father was born in Anaheim in 1946, when he was 11 years old the Dodgers came to LA. He had the pleasure of watching Koufax, Drysdale, Wills, Davis, etc but when the Angels moved to Anaheim in 66 he began to follow his hometown team. He loves the Halos but I still catch him tuning into the Dodger games and taking somewhat of an interest in them. I think listening to Vin Scully brings him back to his youth in a way.
