No, I will blame the pitching. It's the black hole where momentum goes to die. The team will hit, they'll score plenty of runs but this pitching staff will never hold anyone. They can't even hold back horrible teams. It would be nice if Trout, Puljos and Hamilton could save this team, but they can't. Nor can Sosh. It's on Dipito to save the season.

It wouldn't have mattered if they scored 7, that's the point. Every time the offense puts a run on the board, no matter how crappy the opposing team is, the pitching immediately gives up runs. It's called momentum. That's how the pitching is going to drag down everything. I think CJ will be better this year, and hopefully Weaver comes back himself. Still need at least a new starter and two new BP pieces to have a chance

Trumbo likely the only one to fetch anything to make a difference. You might get a decent SP and a couple BP pieces. And that won't happen anyway. There is nothing to trade. You have to give anyone in the system a shot, and cross your fingers.

And don't make the mistake of thinking a bad pitching staff doesn't effect the offense, it does. It is a drag on the entire team.

well, I'm sure it makes fans feel better if it were so easy as "Sosh's fault" Dream on. The entire FO must be on drugs to not send Lowe down. He's the worst pitcher I've seen in recent memory. And the Starters? More trouble. It's going to be a race to the finish, race to last place between Houston and this team. The Mariners are better. The Rangers are better and the A's are better. Drastic trades or bring up AA and AAA pitchers, that's all there is to it.
