    Just trade him in the off season if this continues through the rest of the season. This team needs a direction other than middle of the pack. Of course Arte will never allow that. Selling tickets has always been more important than winning games to him.

    This whole team is not set up to contend for a World Series and has a horrible future outlook. We have no pieces to trade. All they do every year is sign 1 year deals and cross their fingers.

    We can’t even really blame Minasian for any of this either. Of the free agent SPs, Lorenzen has been one of the best. Syndergaard is about average among them. He got some of the best available BP arms too they just have all seemed to have lost it of late. It’s tough when the bullpen always seems to fall apart regardless who we put out there. Remember Hunter Strickland last year? I swear this team has bad juju.

    Luckily if we make the wild card it’s a 3 game series this year.

    They also were playing very much as a team. We got contributions from everyone. The past 3 weeks that’s gone away.

    This isn’t the same team. Syndergaard was putting up much better numbers than his analytics suggested. Rendon is hurt again. The bullpen has lost its ability to get people out. We need a lot to get back on board and quickly if we want to be that same team. I think we’re gonna be in contention for the last 2 wild card spots at best.

    We just gotta make that third wild card then who knows what happens. If this is the low point of the season let’s just hope it doesn’t last too long.
