Angels sign Jason Castro from the Twins

The Los Angeles Angels signed catcher Jason Castro of Castro Valley, CA from the Minnesota Twins on Tuesday. The terms of the deal are one year and worth $6.85 million according to the Associated Press. At 32 years of age, Castro has spent the last three seasons with the Twins. Angels try to improve starting rotation with acquisition of Dylan Bundy

The Los Angeles Angels and Baltimore Orioles made a trade on Wednesday. The Angels acquired right handed starting pitcher Dylan Bundy of Tulsa, OK from the Orioles for four minor league right handed pitchers. Diamondbacks trade relief pitcher Matt Andriese to Angels

The Arizona Diamondbacks traded relief pitcher Matt Andriese of Redlands, CA to the Los Angeles Angels on Tuesday. In return, the Diamondbacks received pitching prospect Jeremy Beasley.
