LOL, like post count means anything. Anyway looks like plenty listened and if you count my post on the old board, pretty sure i have more then 15. I might even have 20!!!!!
In other words, you opinion counts for nothing unless you have met and/or exceeded the 15 post threshold. Typical attitude of many here; don't worry about it.

It sounds like it was a planned extended rest period in between his 1st rehab outing and him pitching for Salt Lake.
Don't know anything more than that, but it at least doesn't sound like anything went wrong.
Scioscia made comments about giving him rest simply because his stamina hasn't been there (hasn't been pitching). Nothing more has been said so far as I can tell.

When a player clears waivers it should give them a pretty good idea how much they suck.
Or how expensive they are.
-
Yeah, he's not ready. Every step forward is followed by two steps back with this guy. Another Dipoto fail.

Ernie- you're the one that seems to have an issue with me. I guess I hurt you feelings before. I was trying to help you out with my first comment in this thread. Stick to talking about baseball.
That's all I've ever done;however, you proclaimed to all that I was disguising myself as another poster as well, thus supporting myself by proxy as "oc angels". That was wrong and I challenged any mod to prove you right with an IP check and they can't. You made it personal at that point, for no reason. I'd really like to meet you in persson.

Let it go man...geez.
This team blows enough without flame wars.
You aren't familiar with his hardon with me.

The sad thing is that no moves will be made to rebuild. These moves should have been made in 2009. We will just continue to trade away prospects for players who may or maynot improve the team but won't get us to the playoffs, thereby decreasing our chances to make another World Series push.
I'd bet a good amount of money that Mike Scioscia will never win a World Series again.
With this team or another? Because I'll take you up on that.

So.... What's the issue with my post, angelsandrams?

I think Iannetta makes a bad pitching staff look even worse.
I responded to this post made at 10:20 pm.

And? How often do you plan to follow me around the forum? Do you have anything to say about the topic or my response or are you going to attack me personally again because you believe I am posting as multiple identities again? The thread was started before the game and most people that posted in the thread replied before the game started.
Fact is, this post started before the game and continued during the game. Anyone who wants to attribute losses to our catcher is misinformed. Kohn walked three consecutive batters, but let's just blame our catcher for that, and the other BP issues.
It's amazing how dense some posters are on this site.

Eff Rodney...he's old news. Save it for the fire Butcher crowd.

Injuries. No way a team could possibly maintain a winning season in this division with several key players on the DL, including the opening day starting pitcher.
Huh?
-
I'm now on an AO bender. WTF just happened? How do we lose a simple game like this?
-
Wo, Wo, Wo, this game was lost on BP and defensive ****ups. Now were blaming Ionetta?
-
WTF is going on? Why rely on the BP with how many pitches Jerome had thrown? I mean WTF?
-
Scioscia is not freaking helping.
-
I'm almost there...almost.
-
What an idiot for pulling a guy that was still throwing really well. Just 74 pitches.
No****ing shit!!!!
-
He's the only player on this team you can count on to do anything reliably...period.
-
-
I have no idea what is going on with him personally, I'm guessing nobody on this website does. One would think that if you lack the information you would refrain from making an assessment.
Wrong audience. LOL

9.5 games back isn't impossible. Stranger things have happened. And yes it's still early in the season.
-
Does it really matter if he pitches 3rd or 4th in the rotation? He won't get anymore starts as the #3. Vargas pitched well today and is obviously a lot better than Blanton (Blanton shouldn't even be starting in the ML) and so far he's probably been the second best pitcher for the Angels, but I'm still somewhat concerned about him. His WHIP and BAA are still high.
You infer he should be pitching even higher, at the two spot. Would that not get him more starts?

It's always possible.
