Do any of you all have any photographs of great scenes of the stadium. Maybe the BIG A , The Rocks , The Hats , or anything else that you would think would be worthy of a great scene.
It would be greatly appreciated if you could provide these great scenes for an artist.
Thanks,
Take it easy.
I'm not exactly sure what you are asking. For what form of art?

A lot of food chains refuse to go into Angels stadium because Aramark pretty much takes over that location. I believe Panda Express is the only food spot Aramark doesn't have control over. So dropping Aramark will allow for more food options.
Also, MOST stadium use a sole food providers and the vendors are just partners. There are a couple of stadiums I know that use dual food provider it simple doesn't work well and can only work in a modern facility. Having multiple food providers require different kitchens, storage areas, shipping centers, staff, as offices. Bottomline, it's a logistical nightmare, and with the stadium being as old as it is, there is no way this would be possible.
Also, most of the upgrades done during the Disney area were improvements that only the fans can see and most of the electrical, plumping, and networking issues still exist. For instance, the reason why the stadium has beer bomber stations isn't because it's what is better, it's because the infrastructure will not support more beverage, power, and CO2 lines.

Aramark is super slow and in no rush to get your food or to try and move down the line. I think Angels Stadium is the worst stadium I have been to when it comes to how quickly the food service is. Not to mention most of their employees seem to be part of a Job Placement Program.
Please remember the stadium is extremely old which hinders the speed of service. Fenway and Wrigley are worse, but much older.

Hate to break it to you, but Aramark is the sole food and beverage provider for the stadium and that includes Panda,Jack in the Box, and Chronic Tacos. The Aramark staff is trained by the vendors to prep the food exactly as they do in the restaurants.

They are firing ARAMARK when their contract expires in June.
This is only true at Honda Center.

Thanks for posting this RFB. It's nice to see pics of things we normally wouldn't be able to see.
Anytime! I have unlimited access to the stadium, I will most definitely post more.

They should remove the trees in the outfield they seem out of place
The outfield wall has been removed while field repairs are being done. The trees are normally behind the wall

good, it was depressing seeing it just dirt during that dirt biking garbage.
The good thing that comes out of the dirt events is why we get new grass every year.

I just hope when they paint the dugouts they don't have a backwards apostrophe like they did last year. You can still see the incorrect ‘12 in your photo.
All labeling and sponsorship signs are always the last touch.

Besides the new luxury boxes, any other noticeable upgrades?
*Cough - it's on hold at the moment
The Homeplate Club has been cut in half to make way for the new press dining area - This is almost done as well
Today they are fixing all the bubbled flooring in the concourse
A new Oakley store has been built

Removed the A's huh?
yeah, I noticed this when I came in this morning. I'm usually in the loop, but I haven't heard any reasoning why it was done. I'm thinking it could be a just a cleaning or brightening the logo.

As someone who is at the stadium daily, this was a nice sight to see. The grass was layed down last week. Stadium improvements are well on the way. Press box is almost done and they removed the "A"s on the big red hats (Maybe for an updated logo?). Either way the stadium is starting to look like baseball again.

So now that there is a shoutbox, does this mean we will go away from gameday threads and inflated post counts?
Or a suggestion, require a minimun amount of characters in a post to count as part of your post count.

Craig is the name of the poster that years ago posted a thread that someone else already started. Then, someone started calling it a "Craig". I think Craig (the poster) still posts once in awhile.
Thanks! It all makes sense now.

It's funny, I been following these forums for years and never thought to ask what the origin of Craig. Can someone fill me in how it/he started?

He's living the American dream and getting the most he can, BUT he isn't doing any favors by stating this because if he flops in LA, he's gonna hear this repeated to him by the media and fans. If he does well and the Dodgers make mulitple runs in the playoffs, everyone will forget about this statement.
